UIC is a privately owned language school. We have a year-round school in Central London where we teach adults both English and modern Foreign Languages. We also teach a large number of groups throughout the year - varying in size from 5 to over 60 students. We can teach groups of any age and offer a wide range of different courses to suit all budgets.
We have been running summer vacation courses for children and teenagers for many years, and in Ascot for the last 8 years. We have built up an excellent relationship with the schools we use and this gives us a basis to be able to offer what we believe to be one of the best summer school experiences you can have.
For many years, we have ensured the welfare, safety and happiness of young people in our care and with our carefully designed and structured programme we aim to maximise a student's potential.
We are mindful that our summer vacation courses are primarily English language courses and we pay particular attention to ensuring the English teaching part of our operations is as good as it can be. Unlike many summer school operations we do not expect our Enlgish teachers to supervise activies - they specialise in teaching and have plenty of time to plan their lessons and take part in training.
We have a large number of staff (in 2011 we employed over 80 staff for 330 students in 2 centres). This is without doubt the best way to ensure the safety of the children and young people we have in our care.
