Food

We know that in a residential school if the food is not good, no one will enjoy themselves. We are very lucky in all our centres to have the same staff catering for us as work for the school year round, so they are used to cooking for and serving young people. We offer a wide range of healthy and fresh food and can cater for different tastes and dietary requirements. You can download some sample menus to give you a more detailed idea but in general our menus will follow these guidelines:

Breakfast: Juice, cereals, toast and preserves, fresh fruit, tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
Cooked breakfast and croissants are served 3 days a week.

Lunch: a choice of hot or cold, always salad and cold meat, cheese, bread. For example – Pasta bar, cod with lime and coriander, new potatoes, broccoli, sweetcorn. Hot or cold puddings - Sticky toffee pudding and custard, Yoghurt, Fresh fruit with Squash or water to drink

Dinner: a choice of hot or cold,
always salad and cold meat, cheese, bread. For example: Spanish omelette,  pizza, fries, spinach, Ratatouille  Hot or cold puddings - Ice cream and toppings, Cheese and biscuits, Fresh fruit, Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, squash and water. From time to time we may have a BBQ in the evening.

On excursion days you will have a packed lunch which will be a sandwich, fruit, drink and snack – (crisps, chocolate, biscuits or cake)

There is a tuck shop where you can buy snacks - chocloates and so on, but this is only open at limited times and sells a limited range of things.
