Our afternoon and evening activities are an important part of the programme. The students have activities in three age groups (7-10/ 11-14/ 15-17) and in those groups there are ‘teams’ ensuring a good nationality mix and encouraging bonding.
The afternoon activities are on days when there is not an excursion from 1400 to 1700 with a break. This gives students a chance to try out some activities as well as to enjoy things they already know. Student timetables are designed to include a balance of sports and creative activities and we also have one afternoon for shopping once a week (click below for a typical timetable)
Our excursions help students experience the historical and cultural aspects of England. Before every excursion, there is a preparation period in the class. This helps the students to understand the background before the visit and maximizes the excursion’s educational value and use of English. (see sample excursions)
